Lost in a Lost World

Voyages in Lost World reflects both a spiritual and physical situation. Having travelled the World all my adult life I have met mostly generosity of spirit and giving. Whilst wondering the desert areas of Rajasthan I came upon a small family living in a straw home with a calf tethered inside a small coral, its mother baying from the perimeter....................... the children [always children] collected and started telling me about the calf and I figured out the problem.......... the calf was male and a male calf is not a lot of good if you want milk and sustenance........... Soon the Mother arrived a little concerned..... then the Father. At this point trouble was hovering on the horizon but the man made old by years in this unforgiving place dragged his marital bed out of his home for me to sit and taking a battered beaker from the well side pulled me a tepid salty brew of water............. it was all he had but he gave it warmly and with humanity never seen in the city board rooms........... so Lost in a Lost World, maybe but found where one would least expect it.
